Summer Life Update

What’s a lifestyle blog if I don’t well… talk about my life. I don’t think I’ve formally posted a life update but due to things getting real consistent around here (#MJconsistencychallenge) I figured I should do these at least quarterly so here goes the summer edition.

Work

I am still working from home for my day time job. We have been working from home since March 10, 2020. Woah. That seems crazy to actually type out. I’m completely adjusted to working from home and we don’t have a date set to go back into the office. I miss our office very much but I am enjoying not having to drive the commute.

I also work part-time as an Associate Wedding Planner at Victorious Events NYC, we are prepping for a Summer Interlude being that COVID forced us to postpone all weddings until next year when it’s safer to do so. I can’t wait to get back into weddings.

I had a very special meeting this morning about a new venture I’m exploring (hint: it’s a product launch for the blog!) I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time.

I’ve also began the paperwork to file for the LLC for my photobooth business launching next year!

Things are more than busy on the work front, and I couldn’t be happier and blessed especially during these crazy times.

Home

I’ve also adjusted to living on my own. I feel like I’ve gotten to know myself on a level that I didn’t quite knew existed. I’ve had so much fun decorating and organizing my space I can’t believe next month will mark one year. The only thing I have my eyes on to make everything complete is this.

Health

I’m finally getting things together for my health, I’ve been taking Ritual Vitamins and I just ordered a weight management system that I PROMISE to show you all. I’m super serious this time, I pinky swear.

Relationships

Romantic relationships, I am very single and very content. I’m not looking for anyone at the moment and I think I’ll stay here for a bit. I’ve learned the hard lesson that you can’t keep anyone that doesn’t want to be kept this goes for everyone. I find myself always fighting for relationship with people and it’s just not worth it. I’m choosing people who choose me - period -. I can’t wait to dig into the Relationship Goals book by Pastor Todd!

Well, this is all for tonight, thank you all for stopping by and reading my blog :)
