It's Tea Time

Is it odd that I remember my first few tea experiences? Well I do, I remember a great amount from my childhood and my maternal grandmother gave me my first cup of tea. She makes her black tea in a distinct way and every time I taste it I’m reminded of her. Some days when I make a good cup I even call her to tell her how similar it tastes to hers. It’s safe to say that she is responsible for how tea obsessed I am. It may just be me but sometimes a hot cup of tea can feel like a warm hug, especially living alone I’m grateful for that feeling.

In my kitchen nook area, I have a fairly large kitchen draw that I use for utensil storage and a space for my teas! Here’s a peek at the starting point of my draw. I lined the draw with a basic beige liner that I found at my local Walmart.

My pantry space was becoming overwhelmed by Tea’s so I decided to ask for these containers for my birthday to help organize the mayhem. When they arrived, I knew that they would be the perfect fit. I immediately started organizing the teas by brand and flavor.

My favorite tea flavors at the moment is Stash Sweet Honey Dew, Stash Asian Pear Harmony and Tazo Passion Tea.

My favorite tea flavors at the moment is Stash Sweet Honey Dew, Stash Asian Pear Harmony and Tazo Passion Tea. I like sweet and light tea’s and these go above and beyond in this category. I love how aesthetically pleasing the tea bags look in the container as well space saving!

After completing this mini project, I’m certainly pumped up to complete the rest of my kitchen organization. I still have the pantry, refrigerator and spice cabinet left to finished (or start if we’re being real). Stay tuned to see how these come out!
