2020 Summer Bucket List

This may be kind of a weird post given the state that the world is in now. Even though COVID is very much so still in effect, I refuse to let it ruin any more of my days. I coined the term to my immediate family and close friends “Corona Days” which basically means a day that was engulfed with a lot of emotion and mimics a feeling of quicksand.

While I cannot always control when a Corona Day will present itself, I can shift my mindset and remain optimistic. By doing so planning out my summer does help, safe activities of course. In today’s blog I am listing out my 2020 Summer Bucket list despite COVID-19 (even though some might not come true).

Water Rafting

I recently went hiking for the first time about a week and a half ago and it was quite the experience. I am not 100% for the outdoors but I’m not at all against it. I should get out more though so with that said I really would like to try water rafting! Activities like this, I always want my brother involved, he is my go to have fun person haha. I am not sure where we could do this, I’m thinking maybe somewhere in Pennsylvania, but I think it would be a great time.

Go to the beach at sunset

I really want to drink a glass of wine on the beach while the sun is setting just listening to the waves crash. I do not know if you could bring alcohol on the beach, but it would so be a vibe lol. I have the picnic blanket from my what’s in my beach bag post that I would bring and a speaker to listen to the latest R&B music. Can you picture it now? I know I can!

Smore’s & Night Swim

This is the actual bucket list item that will most definitely happen, Briah and I have plans to spend an evening in her backyard to make smores and swim in her pool (the lights are soooo pretty at night). I am very excited to enjoy this time. Please let me know if you would like for me to blog about that night whenever it happens, I am happy to do so :)

I know Corona has altered everyone’s plan, but do you have anything special you plan on doing this summer? Tell me about it in the comments!
