One Willow Lunch Date

I have been eyeing this gem of a restaurant for over a year now. Yesterday, I checked the weather for the weekend and when I realized we would have almost perfect weather I called up a few of my favorite ladies and asked if they had plans. I am the queen of spontaneous adventures and traveling to Atlantic Highlands today did not disappoint.

I made reservations for 3pm and we were seated promptly, the atmosphere gave off a coastal yet cozy vibe and we loved it. Once seated we scanned the QR code to obtain the menu and immediately ordered drinks. I had a glass of Prosecco, my mom had a Long Island Iced Tea, Monique had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and Briah had the specialty drink called Jersey Surfin’.

We practically ordered the entire menu, for starters we had the Little Skipper, Burrata, Fried Chicken Wings (the house ranch was amazing) and Fried Calamari. For our entree’s Monique and I order the Crab Cakes, my mom had short ribs and Briah had the fresh catch special of Wahoo. We can all agree that the food, service and ambience made this Saturday absolutely perfect. Shannon and Alexa thanks so much for hosting us, we will be back for sure.

Overall I would give this place a 10/10, I can’t wait to experience this place at night.
