Kitchen Declutter Part I

Welcome to the first iteration of my kitchen organization. I started this project about two weeks ago and I’m so happy with the results. I’m a lover of Pinterest and when I discovered pins of home organizing I fell in love. Organizing and creating a home aesthetic is so therapeutic for me, in today’s blog I’ll share a before and after pictures of my latest project. I’m also sharing details about where I purchased everything.

The Before

This may look like your typical spice pantry but to me I was going crazy every time I opened the doors, everything was so cramped and literally on top of each other. Grabbing what I needed in the moment was a chore, overall it was extremely hard to navigate. I wanted a system with ease so I knew it was time to get to shopping!

I mentioned before that I received so many target gift cards for my birthday, I used my last one gifted to me by my good friend Priscila to purchase the spice tier tray I ended up needing two and with shipping the order came up to $57.54.

Next, I went on Amazon to purchase the spice jars I knew I would need along with these cute vertical labels. It was so much fun transferring all the spices into the new jars, this process took me about an hour or so to complete. My amazon order came up to $39.74.

After these were complete, I still needed bigger containers for sugar, flour and the likes. I headed off to Home Goods and found the three canisters for $6.99 each! My Home Goods total was $20.97.

Total Spent: $118.25

The After

I am so in love with these results, I cannot express it enough! I tried to do a DIY project for the lids and some came out champagne others are still a bit more silver but that is okay, I’ll live. Or, when I feel like it I will respray paint them.

Please let me know if you enjoy these kinds of Before and After blogs, if so I have a lot more in store. I can’t wait to hear from you!
