Wine O'Clock

Well would you look at that, another adventure

Briah and I stated weeks ago that we wanted to visit a winery for our fall activity. She found Alba Vineyards and after viewing their website I immediately said yes. Today she picked me up and we headed on the road - the vineyard was about 45 minutes away which flew by due to us chatting the whole way there.

When we entered the estate, we were greeted by a lovely woman named Shanie (Hi Shanie!!) - she gave us a quick run down of what was offered and best for first timer’s like ourselves. After her explanation, we decided on the classic flight. This classic flight consisted of a white wine, chardonnay, dry rose, and riesling. The riesling was my absolute favorite and I ended up purchasing a bottle to go along with the dry rose as a close runner up.

Briah and I completed our wine tasting with an accompanied margarita pizza, caprese salad and cannoli chips and dip for dessert. Following the yummy lunch - we headed out to the yards and decided on a quick photo opp to seal the day.

Overall I would give this place a 9/10, I would love to see this vineyard in the warmer months!
