Fall Living Room Makeover

IMG-5903.JPG

A new season, just what I needed. At first I felt a bit apprehensive about this fall season - mainly because I felt like I spent the entire year in the house (which I did). When the stores reopened in New Jersey it was covered in fall and halloween decor I felt like I was time warped and missed out on so much.

After things calmed down a bit I am fully adjusted to the new fall season and I’m looking forward to it. As you all may know home and interior design really makes me happy. I decided to give my living room a makeover in some fall inspired colors. Due to the color palette of the spring and summer (neutrals) it was easy to pair new items with the existing. Check it out below and I hope you enjoy!

What’s new in the living room & why

The rust throw, cream mini pillow, hunter green textured pillow and copper tv tray. All of these items cost me under $100 at none other than Target. I love how these pieces tie into the other pillows I already had.

My mom gifted me the orange pillow last year from Homesense and I kept the larger cream pillow and natural colored pillow on the couch for balance.

If you noticed I also moved my couch to the back wall of my living room. I needed more space, I recently ordered a Peloton bike and I'm trying to make room for it. You guys, I am so ready for this new phase of my life. As you know the Peloton is pretty pricey so I need to get my money’s worth and use it.

I feel like I’m coming into the woman I was always destined to be and this is the final touch - me finally being comfortable in my skin. More about this later but for now I hope you like the updated look for the cooler months.

Oh and in case you were wondering I’m currently burning Appleberry Pumpkin so it truly feels like the ultimate fall chill out spot.
