Maintaining Mental Health

During these times we are experiencing globally it’s so important to not only be mindful of your physical health but your mental health as well. We’ve endured so much changed within the last five months it’s so scary to think about what’s to come in our future. Hopefully all great things, I hope. For the past couple of days I’ve been off of work but still finding myself working non-stop. It’s hard to “turn off” to work time, I guess I’m struggling with a work-life balance now, something I never had to worry about.

In today’s blog, I’m writing about the 3 things that helped my mental health.

Waking up to my best friend

Living alone can sometimes get .. well lonely. This morning I woke up to my best friend and it was so pleasant, I stretched and immediately began my day. I never take for granted the time we spend and it means so much. I love you happy!

Eating Banana Pudding

I made banana pudding last night and I was so excited to indulge in the sweet treat. Matter of fact, after this blog is posted I’m going to grab some more and cuddle up on my couch. I shared the banana pudding with my mom, cousin and sister friend.

Sunset Beach Wine Down

Briah and I had the radical idea (okay maybe not radical) to go to the beach after the pool to watch the sunset and omg my mental troubles instantly melted away. It was so tranquil, I really needed that time away to just be and not think about anything. On this spur of the moment evening trip, we grabbed some pretzels, strawberries, Rose and relaxed!
